We understand you may not be able to take all items home with you on the day of sale or have the vehicle necessary to pick them up at a later time, so we offer local delivery at each location. Delivery must be purchased at the time of sale and cannot be added at a later date. At Sara Sells, we partner with trusted, local delivery companies that strive to deliver your purchase with excellent service, every time.
PREPARING FOR FURNITURE DELIVERY
It is your responsibility to ensure that all furniture items will fit through any access points such as doorways, stairways, hallways, elevators and around corners into the desired location. The delivery company will place furniture in the location of your choice.
SCHEDULING YOUR DELIVERY
The delivery company will reach out to you by phone or email the week following the sale. Delivery will be set up within two weeks of the sale, items will not be held for an extended period of time. At the time of scheduling, please notify the delivery company of any special requirements necessary to ensure a successful delivery. This includes, but is not limited to, the need for small trucks to navigate narrow roads and driveways, restricted delivery time frames due to local ordinances, gated entry access, proof of insurance for high rise and condominium buildings, multiple flights of stairs and service elevator reservations.
WHAT TO EXPECT ON DELIVERY DAY
The delivery professionals will open the items outside your home, discard all trash, and bring them inside. We ask that you closely inspect your item(s) before the delivery professionals leave your home. If an item is damaged, the delivery team will photograph the damage, remove the item from your home, and contact Sara Sells for a replacement. If items are not opened upon arrival, you have 48hrs to inspect all merchandise and contact Sara Sells for a resolution.
Our delivery professionals are not permitted to move furniture currently in your home, nor are they allowed to move or set up electrical equipment. To facilitate delivery, please clear the space where furniture or rugs will be placed prior to delivery.
An authorized individual must be home during your scheduled delivery window to accept and inspect your items and sign the delivery receipt.
